I guess today I just wanted to mention something I noticed recently in my own marriage.  When I first got married we were all over each other, I could not spend a moment with out being by his side when we were at home.  We would eat, drink, and sleep each other!  We talked for hours and sex was a number one priority on the list of things to do as soon as we got home from work.

We are coming up on our fourth year of marriage.  Now things have definitely changed.   We watch tv in two separate rooms.  We spend hours on different computers.  We might go bike riding a couple times a week for a couple hours and that is when we get in our “talks.”  At night, we always sleep in the same bed and sex just happens when it happens (though still important, not our number one priority!).

Funny how in such a short time, things change.  I am still happy and live a fulfilled life (ok a few extra dollars would not hurt!).  Do we love each other less because we do not spend all the time together, no in fact I think it shows how much more we have grown as a couple to be able to still live separate equal lives while sharing one live together!

Maybe you should ask me this again in a couple years..lol
